Christopher Kevin Yuwono (born 2 November 2007, in Surabaya), also known as Gus Kevin, is an Indonesian youth tourism ambassador.[1] In 2026, he was selected as Gus Ekonomi Kreatif Kota Mojokerto (Creative Economy Ambassador of Mojokerto City) and holds the title of Indonesian Youth Tourism Ambassador.[2]

Early life

Christopher Kevin Yuwono completed his primary, junior secondary, and senior secondary education at Taruna Nusa Harapan in Mojokerto, East Java.[3] After graduating from high school, he was admitted to Petra Christian University in Surabaya through the Petra Future Leaders Scholarship Program 2026.[4] He enrolled in the Strategic Communication program at the Faculty of Humanities and Creative Industries. Kevin is the son of Andy Yuwono, founder of the media outlet Kabar Terdepan, and Yulike Handojono.[5]

Career

In 2026, Kevin was selected as Gus Ekonomi Kreatif Kota Mojokerto, a title awarded to a youth ambassador responsible for promoting the city's creative economy and tourism sectors.[6]

As part of his advocacy initiatives, he introduced Ngopi Majapahit, a podcast and interactive discussion platform focusing on the cultural heritage, history, tourism, and creative economy of the Majapahit region.[7] The program aims to encourage youth participation in cultural preservation while promoting local creative industries and regional tourism development.[8]
